Typically, when it comes to development, NHI will develop a working prototype in a minimal amount of time and resources, then evaluate the prototype and modify the application for initial deployment. NHI will then over time further add functionality to the system according to the client's requirements.

Our approach also reflects the fact that it takes time to fully translate an entity's business program and the rules around it into a fully functioning application. This approach balances both users’ limited time to devote to project documentation tasks. We find that empowering both system users and system owners; usually yields the most productive results.

More formal project management techniques are recommended on more substantive systems, or projects where an in-depth business requirements analysis is deemed necessary.
